Love and Muddy Paws

I absolutely LOVE our furbabies, and can’t imagine what it would be like without them. Dogs are one of God’s many gifts to us. They are joyful, comforting, eternally forgiving, and show unconditional love… It’s no wonder that dog spelled backwards is God. Both our furbabies are rescues, but I think they actually rescued us. Though we don’t really know their story before becoming a part of our family, we promised to give them a safe, loving home for the rest of their days.

The Rudester

Rudy’s Gotcha Day (April 26, 2016)

Our sweet, goofy boy… Rudy was on death row at a high-kill shelter in Mississippi, but thankfully was scooped up by the Humane Society of Huron Valley’s Love Train and brought to Michigan. We fell in love at first sight and he came home with us the next day.

Miss Stella

Stella’s Gotcha Day (April 24,2019)

Our playful, snuggly girl… Stella was surrendered by her previous owner to the Humane Society of Huron Valley. When we met Stella, we were still dealing with the disappointment of Mike’s unsuccessful surgery. She was the perfect distraction we didn’t know we needed. After Rudy was able to meet her and play with her a bit at the shelter, we brought her home for a pajama party to make sure she was a good fit. It didn’t take long for her to work her way into our hearts, and she officially became a part of our family two days later.
